There can be many friends of a higher mind or philosophy such as astrologers or people involved in academia. One has the capacity to be well-liked and admired for what one knows, and there can be the sudden winning of a prize or money coming to them unexpectedly. The successful artist or associating with artists and having a strong appreciation of their talents is a representation of this. One could also fall in love with a successful person, however fleeting it may be.
Experiencing the need to separate from a relationship and witnessing separations of others is a manifestation of this energy, along with the possible separation of the parents. This relates to feeling emotionally blocked and unclear as to what direction to turn next. "Should I stay or should I go" is the mantra. Another way to look at this would be, "Should I advance or should I stay where I'm at." Thus there's instability in one's long-range career goals, causing career challenges which result in the need for a change. So the best way to deal with the shadow side of this is to make plans for one's future long in advance.
There is the ability to have career success and advancement in life, giving the potential for higher pay and/or a better position within one's work. One has the ability to have a new status in life. Many times one may want to partner with someone who has a more solid social position with financial security; in other words, this could mean marrying well. This is also the influence which attracts us to other cultures, philosophies, and religious beliefs.
Uranus combined with Neptune relates to the collective associations one has with people who are spiritual in nature. These friendships help one to become inspired to heal wounds from past incarnations and evolve the soul; thus, this is the "evolution of the soul." This denotes a collective group of souls who have come into this world to bring new light of spiritual awareness and consciousness. On the shadow side, this relates to people who have addictive behaviors or are perhaps misguided by their associations with others; thus, the negative forces in a culture are using them. On the positive side, this is a period to enhance one's dreams, visions, and insights and put them into a daily practice. This practice can be done through meditation, yoga, and any form of ritual that brings balance and insight into the daily routine.
One is usually known for their organizational skills and their constructive way of thinking. Thus this gives the ability to relate easily to authority figures with the capability of organizing a complicated system, especially where big business is involved. It can also represent long periods of study that will help advance one in their career. On the other side of this, there can be separations due to blocks in communication with authorities, co-workers, and/or loved ones because of a need to be right on both sides. This can also lead to depression due to not being able to express one's thoughts and/or feelings, as though others are not really hearing them.
Jupiter/Node brings successful and pleasant associations into our life, as it relates to abundant people who are influential in the community, having knowledge or financial success. These are the connections one makes which help them to change their future direction. One can meet someone now with whom they would like to marry and share their future. There can also be the birth of a child who brings much pleasure into one's life. Connections can be made now with foreigners who share their beliefs and philosophy on life. On a professional level, this relates to connecting with people who are in key positions to help advance one's career; thus this is an important time for business success created through bonding with others.
A strong physical body with lots of endurance is a quality of this influence. It usually represents an energetic person who is the picture of health. This could also manifest as hyperactivity. It can give athletic ability along with the love of sports and being in competition; thus these are the fighters in life. Medically this relates to minor burns like sunburns, cuts on the face or blows to the head due to over exerting one's personal energy. There can also be a receding hairline or early balding. In addition, there can be a tendency towards fevers or going into a rage when you don't get your own way. Usually this denotes looking at each day as new and different, allowing for personal expression and freedom.

Backpacking to Perth
Cape to Cape of Margaret River Valley
07 Sep. to 18 Sep. 2012
We started the day early and by 7.30am we were on the Kwinana Freeway/State Route 2 heading south to Mandurah a 63km away. At about 9am we visited Dave?s step grandfather, Alf Garden who is 84. He is still very healthy and has been cycling 40km at times. Alf Garden stays alone in a very cozy house nearby the sea in Mandurah.
At 10am Dave hired a 8 seater runabouts boat (A$50) from Blue Manna, 13 Dolphin Drive, Mandurah, (http://www.bluemannaboathire.com.au) for an hour boat drive along the man-made canal. Dave drove us through the scenic Peel Inlet and the Mandurah Estuary viewing the luxury canal side homes.
At 11am we had the best fish and chips for lunch at Cicerello, (http://www.cicerellos.com.au) no.73 Mandurah Terrace overlooking the beautiful Mandjar Bay.
At 12noon we continued another 160km road journey south passing by Bunbury and arriving at Busselton at 2.25pm on Forrest Hwy and Bussell Hwy. From here we continued 24km on Caves Rd. to Dunsborough arriving at 2.52pm to pick up the Pelican Cottage keys from Cape Executive Holiday Properties office at 4a Dunn Bay Centre, 31-33 Dunn Bay Rd. which was pre-booked online by Monica. The cottage was very clean and pleasant with all facilities available. http://www.capeexec.com.au
After checking-in to the cottage, we headed out to explore the town and did some shopping for dinner at Coles supermarket. Dave went and bought some wine for the ladies from another bottle shop. Dinner was awfully fantastic; Dave prepared grilled salmon bought at Coles with plenty of wine to go with.

As more and more people adopt social media tools and get used to Tweeting, Liking and Checking In, smart marketers are employing a raft of tactics to get them to do more and more of just that.
One of the most important reasons to promote and incentivize sharing on social networks is that it can multiply your message and carry just a hint of referral, albeit it very faint one.
Even small, local businesses can take a clue from large organizations, like Dell and national events like the MLB All-Star Game to create a ?command center? approach to promoting a concentrated happening such as a new product launch, new store opening or seasonal sale. The key is to approach it as a very special event and not something you?re trying to maintain long-term.
You may, in fact, discover some elements do play long-term, but most businesses and their customer base can?t sustain something like this more than a days and couple of times a year.
Let?s take a common example that a local retailer might explore ? Black Friday.
Black Friday has become a major shopping holiday in the U.S. as shoppers head out to snap up deals the day after Thanksgiving. (Between you and me, I prefer Small Business Saturday, but that?s another story.)
Many big box chains spend heavily in local markets in an attempt to lure local shoppers with loss leader pricing. Local shops generally can?t compete on price so they need to get creative and I think the command center could be the answer.
For this illustration you might create an ?anti Black Friday? or ?shop local? promotion and employ social media as your bullhorn.
A noteworthy assumption here is that you?ve been active on social media and have created at least some engagement and following. It?s tough to go ?poof, I?m social.?
The way to make this work is make it one person?s responsibility to create and monitor all of the moving parts. Think in terms of the technology, services, monitors, etc that your point person will need to keep tabs and keep promoting.
Choose one or all of the following to build social media buzz around your promotion.
Another benefit to all of this work is the momentum factor. Even if someone doesn?t veer off course on the given day of your sale, there?s a good chance that you?ve exposed a great number of people to your business and some of those might decide to check you out later.
I?m not suggesting this won?t take some work and planning, but hey, the little guy wins always wins when they outsmart and outhustle the big guy.
So, any ideas you care to add to the list?

If you're new here, you may want to get FREE access to my 'Ultimate Internet Marketing Pack'.
Just fill in the form on the right and I'll send you the download link!
The follow-up email sequence is what is so powerful about email marketing. When someone opts in to your list, you can have a full set of emails waiting to be sent out to them on total autopilot.
These emails make it super easy for you to establish a relationship of trust with your subscribers; to give them valuable content and to also send them relevant offers.
First Follow-Up Message
The first of the follow-up email messages in your sequence will be the email where you give your new subscriber the link to the download page for their free gift that they opted in for.
You will also want to take the chance to briefly establish your authority and recommend to them your best offer.
Follow-Up Messages 2 Through 5
The second follow up message should be set to go out 24 hours after the first follow-up message and the next three follow-up messages should also be set to go out 24 hours apart.
These four follow-up messages should contain your best content. At the end of your content (or during the content if it is applicable) briefly promote your best offer.
Follow-Up Messages 6 and Onwards
After the first 5 follow-up email messages, the rest of the follow-up email messages in your sequence should be set up to go out either 48 or 72 hours apart.
With these email messages, you want to continue delivering quality content to your subscribers.
As far as promoting offers is concerned you don?t need to promote a product with every email sent out. Every second email is a good guideline, however, if there is an offer relevant to your content don?t hesitate to promote it.
How Many Follow-Up Messages Should You Have?
A common question that gets asked is; ?How many follow-up email messages should I have in my sequence??
There?s no definite answer to this, however, a general guideline is 6 months worth of messages. The best option for your email marketing campaign will depend on the niche that you are in.
Some niches will have a longer ?subscriber life? than others. For example, if you?re in the wedding niche your subscribers will only remain active while they are preparing for their wedding.
The best way to ascertain how many follow-up messages you should have in your email marketing campaign is to check your autoresponder statistics. For example, if you have 3 months worth of follow-up email messages set up and there are many of your subscribers still opening those emails, then you?ll want to set up more messages to go out.
When should you stop setting up messages? Whenever you want to stop earning money!

Low levels of vitamin D are associated with a markedly higher risk of heart attack and early death, according to a new research.
The study involved more than 10,000 Danes and was conducted by the University of Copenhagen and Copenhagen University Hospital.
Vitamin D deficiency has traditionally been linked with poor bone health. However, the results from several population studies indicate that a low level of this important vitamin may also be linked to a higher risk of ischemic heart disease, a designation that covers heart attack, coronary arteriosclerosis and angina. Other studies show that vitamin D deficiency may increase blood pressure, and it is well known that high blood pressure increases the risk of heart attack.
?We have now examined the association between a low level of vitamin D and ischemic heart disease and death in the largest study to date. We observed that low levels of vitamin D compared to optimal levels are linked to 40 percent higher risk of ischemic heart disease, 64 percent higher risk of heart attack, 57 percent higher risk of early death, and to no less than 81 percent higher risk of death from heart disease,? said Dr. Peter Brondum-Jacobsen, Clinical Biochemical Department, Copenhagen University Hospital.
Top heart healthy foods
The higher risks are visible, even after adjustment for several factors that can influence the level of vitamin D and the risk of disease and death. This is one of the methods scientists use to avoid bias.
The population study that forms the basis for this scientific investigation is the Copenhagen City Heart Study, where levels of vitamin D were measured in blood samples from 1981-1983. Participants were then followed in the nationwide Danish registries up to the present.
?With this type of population study, we are unable to say anything definitive about a possible causal relationship. But we can ascertain that there is a strong statistical correlation between a low level of vitamin D and high risk of heart disease and early death,? said Borge Nordestgaard, clinical professor at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen and senior physician at Copenhagen University Hospital..
The explanation may be that a low level of vitamin D directly leads to heart disease and death. However, it is also possible that vitamin deficiency is a marker for poor health generally,? he added.
Signs and symptoms of a heart attack
The scientists are now working to determine whether the connection between a low level of vitamin D and the risk of heart disease is a genuine causal relationship.
The study has been published in the well-reputed American journal Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology.

In her interview with Katie Couric last week, Sharon Love said that she had ?no idea? that her daughter Yeardley?s relationship with boyfriend George Huguely was violent. Two years after her daughter?s death, Love and her daughter Lexie have teamed up with a Johns Hopkins expert on intimate partner violence to create a smartphone app to help determine whether a relationship is potentially abusive.
Jacquelyn Campbell is both a nurse and a domestic violence expert at Johns Hopkins; she points out that many parents and friends of people in troubled relationships assume that young women aren?t getting into anything they can?t handle. The One Love Danger Assessment app, which is designed primarily for women aged 16 to 26, asks questions about a partner?s drinking and physical aggression. There are also different versions for friends and family members who are concerned about a loved one?s relationship.
?Our normal tendency is to minimize the bad things that are happening to us so we can go on day to day,? Campbell says. ?You don?t want to dwell on the idea that you?re living with a dangerous person, even if the thought has crossed your mind.?

Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres
On September 26, 2012, the Board of Directors of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) will sign an agreement of cooperation with the President of the Radboud University Nijmegen, Prof. Gerard Meijer, and the Director of the Dutch Foundation for Fundamental Research on Matter (FOM), Prof. Wim van Saarloos. The objective is to intensify the scientific and technological cooperation in the sectors high magnetic field laboratories and free electron lasers.
Just like the HZDR, Radboud University also possesses a leading international and much frequented high magnetic field laboratory. "The two institutions complement each other really well," says Prof. Joachim Wosnitza, Director of the Dresden laboratory. "While we at the HZDR generate high-pulsed magnetic fields, our colleagues in Nijmegen specialize in static fields." Already for many years now, the scientists of both labs have been cooperating very closely. There are, for example, a joint procedure for the allocation of measurement times, regular meetings, and a number of cooperative projects.
The free electron lasers at the HZDR's radiation source ELBE generate radiation in the infrared range. Combined with the high field of the adjacent high magnetic field laboratory, they can be used by HZDR scientists and guests from abroad wishing to conduct measurements for magneto-optical experiments. So far, this is unique throughout the world. Over the next few years, it will also be possible to combine infrared rays and high magnetic fields for research purposes in Nijmegen. The Dutch scientists and technicians were able to adopt some of the knowledge which is required for the development and assembly of these systems from Dresden.
In the future, the high magnetic field laboratories and laser facilities in Nijmegen and Dresden will intensify the exchange of expertise and technological knowledge between their scientists and cooperate in research projects. "We're looking forward to a very fruitful cooperation with the Dutch university and the support organization FOM," notes the HZDR's Scientific Director, Prof. Roland Sauerbrey.
